Meleah Boyd was born and raised in a small town called Claremont, located in western North Carolina. With her small town upbringing, she learned the importance of God, family, and hard work. 

 

Meleah moved across the state to attend school at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington where she majored in Communication Studies and graduated at the top of her class. Meleah's undergraduate degree consisted of extensive communication based research. She collaborated with one of her professors on a study that was published and featured in Time Magazine before graduating. Meleah also pursued an internship in Real Estate during her time at UNCW and decided to obtain her real estate license directly after graduation.  

 

Meleah has now been a licensed NC Real Estate Agent since July 2016 and has gained experience in Real Estate Sales, Property Management, Accounting, and Real Estate Transaction Coordination. Meleah is highly knowledgeable about the local real estate market and has always been fascinated with staying up to date on the latest rules, regulations, forms and changes throughout the real estate industry. She also has a strong moral compass and insists on treating people fairly and always doing business the right way. Meleah has a passion for helping mentor new agents throughout their first transactions and teaching them good habits from the start.

 

In her free time, Meleah loves spending time with her husband, Aric, and their two pups, Hank and Everest! She and her husband enjoy traveling to new places where they can hike or enjoy an adventure, like ziplining or paddle boarding! Meleah loves music--Kenny Chesney, The Revivalists and Taylor Swift are among her top favorite artists! Meleah is also an avid runner who has completed several half marathons, with more on the horizon.
